Incom 1st Gear October 29, 2005 Share October 29, 2005 (edited) Hi there, I am also using thermal shield material to insulate my airbox as well. You should be able to get the material from aircon shops. Cost about $10 for a sheet of 1m x 1.2m, with 10mm thickness. Below are some pictures for your info: Cheers Edited October 29, 2005 by Incom

Imuya Clutched October 31, 2005 Share October 31, 2005 a bit too thick to work with! Esp if you wanna wrap it around something. That's from my own experience. But thick may be good if you wanna use it as a partition or something.
Prodi9y Neutral Newbie October 31, 2005 Share October 31, 2005 thanks for the heads up. I got a stainless tube to wrap around.
Imuya Clutched October 31, 2005 Share October 31, 2005 yeap! that's was what i'm referring to! Look at the sharp bend you have there! I suggest from the look of your engine bay to get the thinnest one. otherwise you'll have problem wrapping it around the bend and it'll squeeze against your alarm speaker and battery! ↡ Advertisement
