Going to service this weekend. Anyone knows where got M1 or Shell Helix (Carrefour, IMM??). Pls state price also.

Very cheap. Eg. Shell Helix Ultra 4l only S$70. Elsewhere selling S$95.

You can find at yahoo auction selling at $54 for 4L for shell helix and for mobil 1 gold 0w40 oil selling at 65 at ebay for 4L

But what is the date of manufacture of these engine oils?

 

You don't want to buy expired engine oil.

Normally i see the manufacturing date is around half year to one year from now

I heard some shell helix is from malaysia...?

MAlaysia Shell Helix the rating is 15w 40 oil , Singapore shell station selling is using 5w40 . The grade is different . I check from the malaysia petrol station

I ever get from a guy selling 5w40, and when I asked why it is cheaper...he told me is from malaysia.

Guess you can see it at the label sticker, showing manufacture in Malaysia...

All Helix Ultra is made in Malaysia now. You can check out the label from any Shell petrol kiosk.

The Shell Helix are now made in M'sia liao. My last servicing from KM is already from M'sia. Anyway, I bought mine from ahsong@singnet.com.sg at $57/= (Shell Helix 5w-40 Fully Syn.)for my next coming servicing. Cheer..

Any idea what is the grade? 5w40? SM or SL?
