How to remove the swirl marks on my altis?. 2 times washed in Malaysia and 3 times washed by myself. I am using the turtle wax mitts. I used fusso 9 mths sealant + fusso premium irridium wax like 3 weeks ago. Each time I washed, I will buff with mcguire's quick detailing. I just noticed it yesterday when under the sun......Have I done anything not correct?

Any help? I also got a scratch mark on the rear view mirrors. Can I patch it DIY? The car a bit dirty on the picture....just 1 day fresh from washing....see what Jurong area can do to my car.... [thumbsdown]

Bro, if you allow others to wash your ride i.e petrol kiosks, Malaysia ... etc will most likely tio scratches & swirl marks on your ride one [:p] It's best to try to wash the car yourself [;)] Maybe, you can try to use some scratch X to remove the scratch mark on your mirrors & swirl marks if it is not embedded too deep [:)] else you can engage our Bro Gen2's professional service to do up your ride [nod] My bro in law's 2003 Corolla also tio lots of swirl marks and scratches as he always goes to Malaysia for car wash [:p]

I just realised yesterday of the obvious swirls, was a bit worried that I may have done something wrong..... just use scratch X or need additional products?

U can try ScatchX first. Can u feel the scratches with finger nail? If still unable to remove those swirls and scratches, then have to resort to machine detail. Look for professional groomers or our Gen2 bro [thumbsup]

You can try using ScratchX with the Meguiar's yellow foam applicator pad, but remember, try on a small test area first and don start doing up the whole bonnet immediately. If it works than carry on with portion by portion to finish up the whole bonnet, never try doing too big an area.

ScratchX will remove whatever wax or sealant you put on previously, so follow with a wax or sealant after you finish with ScratchX.

I found some really bad scratches on my front bumper. Seems like somebody driving a yellow ride managed to scrape it. bigcry.gif Was comtemplating what to do as it was already past midnight when I reached home when I remembered about your work... Took out my bottles of Meguiar polish (system 2) and wax (system 3) and started to take out the scratches.. It was hard work but the scratches were slowly but surely being removed! flowerface.gif Now from far, you cannot see the scratches, can only see faint scratches up close.. Oh well.. A good reason to add stickers to that area of the bumper liaoz... Oh yah, I sealed the area with telfon and Auri Gold something... laugh.gif
