like i mentioned in the previous reply, they waste "ink" by printing the am/pm row. Because it is understood that the cost of night parking is S$2/night, regardless what time you park the car, so be it 1030am or 1 am, normally I will just tear the pm tab of the night I wanna park.

 

all "HDB" carpark signboard and rules are the same, only some(with nightspot/food centre centre around )got extend till 1am, with this, from 1030pm to 1am, you must be thinking which coupon to put, well only 2 cases:

1. for ppl who have season parking at own house or no need to pay parking at night, definitely will put 50ct/hr coupon, and

2. for ppl who need to pay night parking, will tear the night coupons for this case, cos can reuse the same coupon when go back.

 

1 thing to take note(for open carpark): those carpark with nightparking will definitely have signboard light up at night(unless flourscent tube burst). those without night parking WILL not have any light, thus dont rish yourself in parking your car in these car parks, cos HDB normally make sure the area for night parking are very big. so no chance you can win if you appeal against this if you get "green" paper for parking there even though you tear S$2 coupon.

if u park at 26 Oct 2005 11:30pm,

u put the date as 26 Oct 2005, and tear the before 12am tab.

 

if u park at 27 Oct 2005 00:30am,

u put the date as 27 Oct 2005, and tear the after 12am tab.

 

Simple?

 

Without the 2 taps, people can use the coupon 2 times:

park at 27 Oct 2005 00:30am until morning

and put the date as 27 Oct 2005

 

then park at 27 Oct 2005 11:30pm until next morning

and use back the same coupon.

u put the date as 26 Oct 2005, and tear the before 12am tab.

-> You can park until next day morning 7am with this coupon

 

 

if u park at 27 Oct 2005 00:30am,

u put the date as 27 Oct 2005, and tear the after 12am tab.
