HI MCFers,

 

Just checking with you guys on the tearing of hourly coupons.

 

Let's say you need to use 3 hourly coupons, can you tear all 3 one shot at the same time (e.g. 2:00PM) OR you need to tear one by one according to the timing per coupon (e.g. 2 - 2.30PM, 2.30 - 3:00PM, etc)?

 

For me, I usually tear all at the same time as I was told that the attendants will know how to "read". So far, never kena anything with method 1.

 

Any comments?

I usually do the latter. i.e. tear it accordingly and not all at once.

 

Sometimes I space 10mins between the coupons coz got allowance mar.

But that was until i heard that it doesn't work that way.

i normally tear like 2pm...next 3pm and last 4pm...

There's instruction written in the coupon cover page I think.

 

It specifically mentioned to use method 2: "need to tear one by one according to the timing per coupon (e.g. 2 - 2.30PM, 2.30 - 3:00PM, etc)"

Car park that did not state night parking. Meaning that you cannot place a $2 for the long our night till next morning 7am.

 

Else how do you explain why HDB want to place that extra sign plate "Night parking" at the entrance ?

you cannot tear all coupon with the same year/date/hour/min. they will summon you.

 

Just run your coupon in series one after another.

 

I had a friend who run out of $2 dollar night coupon and is pass midnight. What he did is used 4 x60cents and tear with the same year/date/hour/min. Result....$$$

bro,he can do it this way...

can use normal 50cents or 1dollar coupons to replace the night parking...

but must make up to 2 bucks...

and same time and date can be tear with more than one coupon..

ur fren shd go n appeal..

i kenna b4 and i Fuked them...

i dare to fuk them cos i know that it can be done that way...

in the end thay waive the summon...

unless ur fren is not tearing the time at 12 midnight...maybe 2am or so..

No as I said. He make it 4 x 60cents to 2.40 to make up for the $2 night coupon. All because he only have half hour coupon in the car and the time is past midnight. No where he can buy the coupon.

 

Well, whether he appeal or not, Im not sure. One thing for sure, they will summon you and make you waste the time to appeal.

it won't be a waste of time to appeal unless ur fren wana donate 30 bucks to them...

that attendant must be a noobie....

btw,half hour is 50 cents not 60 cents....

and like i said,maybe instead of 12am,he tore 1am,2am...etc...

maybe that one is not valid....

no lah, where got like tat, from 1030pm to 7am next day only need 1 x night coupon, which cost S$2 only.

 

whether you park your car at 1030am, or 2am, only need 1 coupon, just make sure you tear am/pm tab correctly to tally with the date.

 

for me, I will tear the pm tab for that day, even if I though I park after 12am or 2am or even 4am, cos the warden wont be able to know wat time you park it. make sense?

 

In fact they shd not have to put the pm/am tab, whether you park at 1030am, or 1am, the cost is the same. they r wasting "ink" just to print that row.

ha, i suspect his friend use motorbike coupon(last time before the rise is 60 cts/coupon) and he mistaken the year 2003 as 2005? and use it, hence kana summon.

OMG, u pay double for how long liao? as seen from the pic i attached here(courtesy of HDB website), it cost only S$2/night unless you are saying from 12am - 7am and 1030am - 12am the same day(same date)...
