Did C&C sell a Galant (2002-2003) with all round disc brakes?

Hi EventH,

 

During end 2002 to 2003, C&C sold 2 models of Mit Galant. The one I

in Jan 2003 was the VR package which included

 

1. Full VR4 Bodykit

2. 4 wheel disc brakes

3. Larger Exhast Tail pipe (I think maybe 4 inches)

4. Illuminated Dials (Toyota call it Optironmeter)

 

I do not know whether the non VR package included the 4 wheels disc

brakes or not. But previously before they had the VR package, earlier

VRG had front disc and rear drums.

Okie. I think that is Galant that I saw. Quite chio dial I must say ... so only got the VR4 look but VRG performance.

If you like the look, yeah car is quite chioh. I change my rims to 17"

with 225 17 45 tyres. So far 2 years and 9 month (58K on meter) car

never give any problem. But after that cannot say. Mitsubishi quite

famous for gear box problem. But since Galant around for so many years

already, I think not so big issue.

In terms of performance, okay only. But cannot take on Camry or Cefiro.

Maybe can only outrun Korean 2 litre car. Maybe my tyre and Rim too big.

Original Galant I think 15 inch rim. But if put 15" rim, I think car

will look funny.

 

Anyway, I plan to sell the car soon.

Sorry, but I do not have one. But maybe I can try to take

a picture tomorrow when sun brighter. Now sky damn dark.

Your car should be a mid 2002 car right? Because I think

after end 2002, all the dials come with illuminated design
