Heartlander Turbocharged September 17, 2015 Share September 17, 2015 For me I'll prefer sienta. Japan vs Indonesia; have you tried sitting in both cars? Sienta the feel is more high class; mobilo I just felt so wrong the interior is very basic. If can accept PI rides, very obviously Sienta is the better choice. ↡ Advertisement
Acemundo Supercharged September 17, 2015 Share September 17, 2015 sienta is better choice in almost all dept except 1) air con vent for last row seat no avail in sienta but avail in mobilio 2) warranty is longer, free servicing for Honda mobilio vs almost nothing for sienta
kongfu Neutral Newbie September 17, 2015 Share September 17, 2015 Hi all, Thanks for the feedbacks! Ya high chance will get sienta also as Japan vs Thailand made. Agreed mobilio interior is super basic which I'm trying hard to accept if really go for it .. for mobilio, only like the exterior and the middle aircon the last row & the horse power slightly higher than sienta. .attractive part is becos now kah motor got promo. . Pay basic model rates to free upgrade to the luxe model (tats y feel a bit of temptation .but . .can't stand the dashboard design..then sienta of cos prefer the interior more. Found one PI they cover 10 years warranty leh. Awaiting their shipment come next week and if everything goes well.. will get the sienta. ;)
kimsoon Neutral Newbie March 13, 2016 Share March 13, 2016 Hi Kungfu. I am also considering the Sienta vs Mobilio. So you bought the sienta? Which PI offers the 10 years warranty? Tks.
Markzhuo 1st Gear April 9, 2016 Share April 9, 2016 Provided they can stay open for the 10 yrs la. Not trying to be negative but look at company like five stars tour company....they are long timer but still cannot avoid closing down.
LPPL 6th Gear April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 Heard that the Mobilio is having drum brakes behind, Does anyone know why they have that kind of configuration for such a nice looking car?
Vinceng Turbocharged April 16, 2016 Share April 16, 2016 Heard that the Mobilio is having drum brakes behind, Does anyone know why they have that kind of configuration for such a nice looking car? Obviously as a cost cutting measure. I feel Mobilio is overpriced at $105K for a basic MPV. Kah Motors profit margin is over $20K. There is room to drop the price by at least 5%, to bring it to a more sensible pricing level as the $100K Chevy Orlando 1.4 turbo.
Vinceng Turbocharged April 17, 2016 Share April 17, 2016 Saw the Sienta today and surprised that it's priced cheaper at $100K with guaranteed COE at Abwin and Prime, compared to $105K for the Thai assembled Mobilio at $105K at Kah with non guaranteed COE and lower OMV. It is a pity that a nice looking $105k car has only drum brakes at the back. At $105k many choices if not looking at mpv ↡ Advertisement
