Workshop to install Window Visors

Hi,

 

Just bought a set of window visors from KM. Where can I get it installed and how much? KM wants to charge $55 to $80 to install it, which I find expensive.

Forgive my ignorance. Should this be just a simple peel and paste job? Peel off the back of the tape that glued to the visor and paste it onto the door frame.

Not necessary simple... For pak jiao people like me, stick myself the visor sure end up being singeh one....

if u got a steady pair of hands and good double side tape, u can try DIY.. else any workshop should be able to do it for a small fee

What I do is to wet the sticky part first, so that it's less sticky.

Then aim and let it stick very lightly on the surface when I am done with the adjustment.

When very satisfied with it, press hard on it and the water come out and let it dry a little...

 

3M sticky tape sure can trust, will not come out one.

 

Till you see how simple it is...you won't want to spend such money.

I'm never good in this kind of work... Be it cutting, sticking or whatever... Always sing-eh to one side one... Give up already...

Got it installed myself. Pretty easy with some tips from andrewkb.

 

pull out the rubber along the window sill, clip the visor in, pull out the tape, push the rubber back into its original place, and viola, done! took me 1 hr to figure and install all 4 of them.

$131+ for the visors. Made in Japan by Honda. Air flown to Singapore.
