Allen 2nd Gear October 24, 2005 Author Share October 24, 2005 hi, i went to pxx xxxg and they say titan 17' is around 9kg and my stock 15" rims is around 8+kg, so i guess weight wise it is roughly the same. i need strong rims coz i travel to m'sia often and i am a s**ker for 7 spooks rims. any to recommend? Silver_blade Turbocharged October 24, 2005 Share October 24, 2005 (edited) Agree with the comments that Titan is very heavy. I'm among the 1st to use it (17") since late 2001/2002 and I can tell you that it is indeed very heavy. It is telling from the start....slow pick-up. But the thing i like about it is the design...but there are now other rims with similar design but lighter. In any case, it's wrong to think that heavy rim will not warp if you drive over potholes at high speed. Even the ultra heavy momo rim warp in such situation. Silver_blade Turbocharged October 24, 2005 Share October 24, 2005 I think SSW and RM have rims which looks similar to the Titan.
Sevenz Neutral Newbie October 25, 2005 Share October 25, 2005 Spoon, CE28N and buddy club P1 replicas are quite light. Check them out, quite affordable also, rather than forged. ↡ Advertisement
