Genie47 1st Gear October 11, 2005 Share October 11, 2005 At lunch I went to Daiso to spy out stuff. Their detailing section has new stuff! Microfibre mitts! Type A looks like the mitt from Fibreshine for car washing. Type B looks exactly like kitchen stove heat resistant mitt. Then they got microfiber sponge. Quite like the terry towel sponges I got last time with me Klasse kit except the cloth covering is microfibre. The sponge is 2-3X larger than the Klasse kit terry sponge. My evaluation? The MF material is rather thin. I don't think can use for rough applications like washing but pretty OK to use as applicator for the sponges. For the mitts, you can use them as glass polishers or dashboard cleaner. They don't look tough enough for buffing but hey! It only costs $2 so be my guess and give some feedback. ↡ Advertisement
Godfinger Neutral Newbie October 11, 2005 Share October 11, 2005 I actually bought this MF detailing clothe in Daiso too. Its kinda soft for the 1st 10-15 times usage. But becomes spiky and not so soft as time goes by. I use the clothe mainly for Drying the car and this clothe have the ability to pick up fine dirt which your regular washing with shampoo is unable to lift off. Guess the clothe must have taken up the dust/dirt and become soilt after many times of rinsing with water. Nevertheless, its cheap and I bought 5pcs at a go. Will try the new stuff you mentioned. Especially the wash mitt. So that can last me

Godfinger Neutral Newbie October 21, 2005 Share October 21, 2005 Just Bought 3x MF sponge and 2x MF cleaning clothe. Just noted that the cloth are very thin and the fabric woven is not so full as those fibre-shine. Therefore, I bought many as these items wear our real fast. Godfinger Neutral Newbie October 21, 2005 Share October 21, 2005 I bought 2x Mitt too. Haha. Really good manz. Anyway, I am considering to get the Philips Light bulb. Either Vision Plus or Blue Vision. Not getting the Diamond vision or crystal vision since the lumens number not in the healthy side. ↡ Advertisement
