Grandfather Neutral Newbie October 8, 2005 Share October 8, 2005 Quote Pls keep us all update on both steps, cost and especially fotossss...Will be very eager to DIY it too. below is the reply from my friend who posted in NEC >>>>>>"I've wire up the remote power mirror circuit, technically it's working as what we have discussed last nite, tomorrow just need to tranfer into your car. After testing the circuit I've decided to add a 2ways switch to the circuit. This switch will be place side by side with the existing manual power window switch. Will explan to you tomorrow why I need this switch. When this switch is "OFF" the remote control will not be able to control the power window(just as it's now) When the switch in "ON", your power mirror will fold back when your car is arm, your mirror will unfold out when you press disarm thru your remote control. Parts required: 1 no 12 Vdc relay, 4 ways contact. $10.00(should be lower at SLT) 1 toggle sw. $2.50 ($1.50 no light) Will not cut your orginal wire, just tap will do. You come early, I've it fix up for them to c. SMS me the time." most important thing for this mod to work is that you need to have electronic folding function installed in your car. if dun have the cannot mod unless u go install a electronic folding mirror. will post the pic after tomolo's DIY and testing. ↡ Advertisement

Snoopy44 Neutral Newbie October 9, 2005 Author Share October 9, 2005 Hi all, Went to WishWerks and take a look. Promotional price for automatic tilt is at S$120.00 promotional price with 2 yrs warranty ( normal at S$150.00 ). It is connected by a EPROM switch and it corrects it's angle of tilt every 10 times it has been activated. This will ensure that the angle of tilt is always correct and precise. I was told that it is also re-programmable but did not asked to what functions. However, for autofold, if car is without autofold mirror then you will not be able to do autofold connected to your alarm. Unless, there has been a motor inside but not connected then it can be done. I will probably go ahead and do it soon... keep you guys updated on this... Rgds Snoopy

Traillar Neutral Newbie October 9, 2005 Share October 9, 2005 3M sticks r thick double sided tapes meant for outdoor use. Anyway, i dun reali recommend u to get the stick on signal lights. Coz they r reali unsightly. I noe Altis, vios and sunny have the nice nice type from manufacturer. Not sure abt the other makes.
