Port cylinder heads

I heard that porting your cylinder heads can increase performance - meaning to slightly deepen the cylinder heads and smoothen out all the factory machine marks during the manufacturing process. The only hand ported cars are Integra Type R and European sports cars like Ferrari. I read that it's relatively simple if you know how to remove the engine parts and you can do it yourself if have the tools, but usually would need bead blasting first as a preparation step.

My question is - where can I get this done for good and cheap in sg?

This job is time consuming and should be carried out by professional and therefore cannot be cheap. Porting requires use of special carbid cutters ,air powered high speed grinder, polising pad etc and very good knowledge of cylinder head contructions. Any mis grinding near the inlet and exhaust stem guide areas will render the cylinder head for scrap. The professional will normally smoke test the completed ported head for smooth gase flow to ensure all the grinding/porting are correct.

Go there and they will refer u to nearby shop. I tink the shop belongs to same boss. Anyway, pls call them inform them b4 u go there as they might haf to arrange somethings.

I did on my previous ride. Proton Wira.. change eng to 1.8, P&P, CAI, reprograme ECU, etc... took mi 4 days.. Call and ask b4 u go.. Impt!!!
