Maybe it's the photo angle (or maybe it's my glasses) but doesn't it hint of a Passat (c-pillar area) with some Lexus-derived lights.....? [:|]

Any specs or info on when it's coming to S'pore ?

ACtually TB its already here. Went down a few days ago to Ubi Megamart and it was there. Inside is a nicer and posher version of the Corolla.

Ubi Megamart.....? Wow - looking out for a replacement for your Focus, already ? [laugh]

Anyway, does that mean we can expect to not see it at BM anytime soon ?

Yah, it does looks like Passat & with Lexus light... that's what i feel too.... it's 1.8Auto... with option for 2WD or 4WD..... available at $113K (over the phone quote) at EuroMobile in Ubi.... can do down to take a look.... I went Borneo in Leng Kee to ask for specs... they say they don't carry this... cos not popular.....

Would really love to..... but my current one is finishing in 6th Jan 2004... so i got about 1yr 8mths to go..... now i'm in the mist of transistion period (starting my own business).... no spare cash to go around.... next round lah! When my car scrap... i would be able to get about $23K to $25K depending on the PQP then... cos my car low mileage & only 1 transfer.... so if the PQP is low... then more pple would want to get my car for COE renewing... then i can fetch better price.... so then i would have about $20K for downpayment..... can look at Premio then..... Actually... all along... for Toyota series... their interior are quite basic.... feature wise.. not bad... like for my Corona.... it already has a automatic headlight on/off detector... that means.. i would have no need of switching off headlight or turning them on.... it's automatic..... cos it has got a light sensor on the dashboard.

I got for toyota not bec of the interior ... but for it's reliability & durability. I mean... my this old horse.... can hit 200km/h at about 4,500rpm and still stable.... think i would want that kind of performance over whatever kind of interior. Anyway, we can always enhance the interior.... but as for performance, engine, etc..... not much or limited.

Call me old fashion or what!! [:)][:)][:)]
