Cluster orange led for signal light

hi guys,today i went to slt to buy a pair of ready made 12v orange signal light without modification for my ride matrix..but once i plug into the signal light holder,when i turn the signal knob,the cluster of orange led light up but the flashing speed is much faster than normal..izzit normal??

Whether normal or not I'm not sure.

 

But I've noticed that if one of the signal light bulb blown, the signal flashing speed will be faster than normal.

ya..i try to take out the normal bulb then turn the signal...it flash faster than normal 2

This is due to the LED bulb which uses less power. The car signal electronic thinks that the bulb has blown, hence the faster signal rate to inform the driver of the problem. One way to fix this is to plug in a load resistor in parallel to the led bulb.
