Most important, what does your car require?

 

The CCA seesm OK for our climate because we have no winters. 35Ah seems puny but the RC is impressive. You still need to meet your car's minimum CCA even though we have no winters. Most cars these days need about 420CCA minimum.

I recently changed my battery and before doing so, I did check with a few manufacturers on using something that is higher rated.

 

The feedback was that as long as the physical size can fit into the compartment, it is fine to use a higher rated battery. Can't remember exactly, but the message seemed to imply that by using a battery that has a higher capacity than required, the life of the battery is also extended somewhat.

Higher rated as in RC and Ah but CCA use minimum your car requires because we don't experience winters here.
