Does anyone know how to DIY an open pod filter piping?

I'm basically looking for a straight 3 inch diameter pipe of length about 20cm with an inlet to connect the rubber hose at the side of my cam cover (what is that rubber hose for?). And idea where's a good place to look for something like that?

Hey bro customising your CTR already?

So fast got used to 220horses, now need more?

The 3' diameter pipe can get at most hardware shop, will cost only a few dollars....nod.gif

As for the rubber hose at the side of the cam cover, that is the oil breather oulet for releasing excess oil pressure and to leak off the oil fumes during high rev..thumbsup.gif

Just to follow up, I have followed your instructions and gotten the piping for my intake. Thanks bro! [thumbsup]

I went to the shop at Jln Jurong Kechil that sells gutter piping, got a 20cm section of 2.5" pipe, and costs only $1.50. [nod] Of course, if I comb construction sites, can prob pick up some loose pieces for free [laugh][laugh]

Hey!!! Nice avatar you got there... BTW, where do you find such pics?

Don't have the shop name, but it's at Jln Jurong Kechil, pretty much at the bukit timah road end of it. Sort of next to the Shell station, with a tire shop a couple shops away from it.. You can see a whole pile of pipes outside the shop.

If not, I believe places like Serangoon and Lavender should have also.
