Accessory problems

ok i have minor problems on my '01 octy.

 

1. the cigarette box compartment doesn't latch anymore. dosn't lock to close. a bit difficult to troubleshoot as can't see the levers in the interior after removing box. is there a spring prone to falling off?

 

2. the knob meant to adjust front seats incline/recline. the plastic knob fell off leaving the metal gear it sits on. its plastic to metal, quite some force used to twist.. how to secure?

1. I ripped mine out totally and its without a spring now. Guess you have to manually open it if its without a spring.

 

2. I have no idea how the plastic knob is connected to the metal..

Well, you can drop by Servo to look for Dennis if he has some spares around... Saw quite a few similar Seats yesterday... You can also ask him about the cigarette box issue dude...
