The spec for the eu version is either a 1.4 i-dsi sohc or 1.8 i-vtec sohc...

2 weeks ago when i went to Kah Motor, SE said price will be finalised in Oct and they only have 1.8. City will be upgrade to 1.6 to fill in the slot. Civic 1.4 might come in at the end of 2005 but all these are only "hear say hear say".

but with S'pore tax structure, bringing in a 1.8 civic doesn't seem wise leh...look at the thai accord, they now have a 2.0l version and i'm sure it's cos the 2.4l isn't doing very well

agreed. all the sales might instead go to corolla altis or m3. when the 2.4 accord was around, most sales went to the camry and cefiro. but the stunning looks and frugal honda engines should be a draw to many.
