There is a knocking sound coming out whenever I make a U-turn. What is the problem? Any expert can comment?

Did you change to a bigger rim, maybe the offset not enough....

Hi..

I also think its the CV joint goner liao.. better to replace it.

If it is not CV joint, then can let us know what could be the cause of the knocking sound and how to solve it so that if next time our cars encounter such problem, we can roughly know wat causes it. [:)]

Thanks. [;)]

Not just U Turn. If sound also comes when you do a right or left turn

there is a chance is due to bearing.

CV joint is may be the suspect but bearings located at the shock absorber

maybe the cause too.

So what is CV? ASAP? Dangerous? I am driving a corolla...my front tyres is 195/60/r15 but my rear is 195/55/r15...is this the cause of the problem?
