Nightchaser Neutral Newbie August 8, 2005 Share August 8, 2005 Hi, am helping Robert test out his Hankooks Z212. The dry and wet grip are pretty good and so is the price compared to AD07. Just need to get used to the noise that's all...

Robertoon Neutral Newbie August 9, 2005 Share August 9, 2005 Z212 is definitely noisy. If you prefer good grip with low noise, try K104.
Jchuacl Clutched August 9, 2005 Share August 9, 2005 What are you looking for? Ad07 compound feels soft and provides the solid grip once the tyre has run in. The wear rate appears to be fast, so you have to take note of it. The wet grip isn't as bad as what most people has said. I felt confident using it like the way I used S02 in the wet. The weight of the tyres does not feel as heavy as the bridgestone tyres (S02,S03, RE050) and sidewall a little softer as well. S03 compound is harder and does not seem to provide the grip that AD07 has in the dry. Wet grip I can't really tell the difference though AD07 does seem to provide more psychological confidence. The tyre is more durable and can easily last till 50k though the grip starts to deteriorate noticeably from about 30k onwards. One thing I don't like is that S03 tends to tramline. ↡ Advertisement
