Me driving Corolla G6. That place is more of a spare parts shop basically.....

 

So far done my timing belt, carburator, shock absorber, rear brake pad, etc there.

Got a new one about 1.5 years ago. Carb + labour @ $380.

 

What you mean by tuning carb? If adjusting the idling rpm and/or adjusting the rpm to compensate when air-con kick-in, I can also do it myself. In fact, I learn that from one of the mechanic at Simon's.

Timing belt package comprises of timing belt, aircon belt, alternator belt, bearing, oil seals and water pump. It's $280...but i managed to bargain to $250...

[reply]If the sound is when the AC comes on, It most prob is your AC compressor which needs to be checked.

hi everyone, where is Markool? my swift also got some instable rpm and aircon cuts in and out non stop... the compressor is noisy too.....the front shaft got tick sound...

...i suspect ur aircon fan motor needs replacement...let ah huat give it a check...compressor..noisy.,...hmm...maybe almost "ki qia"..

 

front shaft needs a mech to give it a check whether iszit time for replacement
