the battery light came before the change.

Changed a new one, with labour, paid $220.

I realised that my fluctuating rpm was solved with the change. [:)]

(edited)

forgot shop name...but near Bkt Batok. [:)]

no choice as it was the only shop to open on Sunday + have spares.

Price was definitely expensive but no choice, as my wife's driving the car to JB today..hehe.

my hole even bigger... [:(]

remember the grock-grock sound from my ride...finally diagnose is the front lower arm joint and the rubber cap which needs to be replaced...My mech applied synthetic grease to it and it sounded no more. So confirm the fault and the origin of the sound.

Mech quoted as follows:

Front Lower Control Arm L&R) = S$ 175 X 2 pcs = S$ 350

Rubber Caps (L&R) = S$ 15 X 2 pcs = S$ 30

Labour = S$ 30/40??

Total coming to about S$ 410+. Sigh.....

The lower control arm can still use, right? Only prob is the irritating sound.

Why don't u wait first until the problem gets serious then do all together? U can save some big $$$ like this.

Changing the rubber caps seems worth it if your CV joints r still in very good condition. If not, let them wear out, then change together.

BTW, I changed my lower front arm(new) for abt $100/pr incl labour.
