Ice34_y2k Neutral Newbie October 25, 2005 Share October 25, 2005 sure u wanna rush in and change 2 auto under "force" circumstance??? dun regret hor... it's ur $$$, no one can force u... wat i'm trying 2 say is dat if u'r in no rush, Y force urself? anyway... a manual FC is always better then auto... think abt u if u'r so concern abt the FC... Kelisa is 1.1 rite? auto might nt have the power... juz my presumption... but would urge u 2 think carefully 1st... ↡ Advertisement
Wbucket Clutched October 26, 2005 Share October 26, 2005 Actually I never drove an auto car before. So can't help you there.
Vit4wd 1st Gear October 26, 2005 Share October 26, 2005 In all honesty, manual Kelisa is a better bet, and you save S$3K too. I have test driven both before. Very difficult to rev below 3000rpm for auto Kelisa for adequate acceleration, unless you don't mind the driver behind you flashing his headlights or horning at you. Wbucket Clutched October 27, 2005 Share October 27, 2005 I though Auto up-shifted at a fixed (or around the same) rpm? Anyway, at gear 4 (highest) 3000rpm, I think the car only moving at about 70km/h-80km/h.
Vit4wd 1st Gear October 28, 2005 Share October 28, 2005 If you are lightfooted, auto trans will upshift at lower rpm, say 2000rpm. If you are heavyfooted, it will upshift only at higher rom, eg. 4000rpm, or near redline. For 1600cc auto cars, it can upshift even at 1800rpm - super economical if you are very lightfooted
Calibra Neutral Newbie October 31, 2005 Share October 31, 2005 wbucket, ur kelisa posted in the hotstuff ? i luv the blue kelisa with some white decay and black front. its cool. if not wrong, he got curtain inside rite ? install it in mls ? whts the cost ? one more, voltage stable can help to slove enjin vibrate problem ? Atlantis_boi Clutched October 31, 2005 Share October 31, 2005 Anyway, at gear 4 (highest) 3000rpm, I think the car only moving at about 70km/h-80km/h. I believe @ gear 4 - 3000rpm shld b able 2 attain higher crusing speed due to the fact that Auto has got taller gearing ratio compared to Manual. Calibra Neutral Newbie October 31, 2005 Share October 31, 2005 means, same RPM,but the auto gear will move the car in higher speed ?
Vit4wd 1st Gear November 3, 2005 Share November 3, 2005 Ya, I saw that ice blue (or is it ice green) Kelisa, very nice... but in fact all the Kelisas look very cool in the picture shot.
Atlantis_boi Clutched November 3, 2005 Share November 3, 2005 Yes or put it this way, a normal 1.6L car, Manual Trans will cruise @ 100km/hr @ close to 3000rpm but an auto is abt 2200 ~ 2500rpm @ the same speed due to the wider & taller gear ratios in the Auto. Wbucket Clutched November 6, 2005 Share November 6, 2005 Bro, kelisa auto only have 4 gears, manual have 5. So unless they are sacrificing acceleration for speed, else the rpm for cruising would be higher for auto than for manual. Anyway, kelisa auto's rev at 90km/h need to higher than 3k rpm. Wbucket Clutched November 6, 2005 Share November 6, 2005 Mine is second row, far right. Which blue? Light blue with white strips? That belongs to our founder. He got the whole car respray, light blue isn't a standard color. Curtains are from MY, but I heard them saying singapore got too. VS, might solve vibration problem. Should be more notice-able for auto-tranmission kelisa (or most car for that matter). But I have not personnally tried it, so can't quote my experience. Will be fixing though, after I installed my voltage guage.

Qooo Neutral Newbie November 17, 2005 Share November 17, 2005 Kelisa is too small to be a safe car.
Wbucket Clutched November 17, 2005 Share November 17, 2005 It is the driver, not the car.
Qooo Neutral Newbie November 17, 2005 Share November 17, 2005 it's true, but you can't prevent some nuts from hitting you... like the case with the mazda test driver.
Wbucket Clutched November 17, 2005 Share November 17, 2005 Then there are going to be other makes that would perform just as bad as kelisa. You would have to get a BMW to ensure safety. Apart from looks, do you have any evidence on how un-safe this little car is compared to the general cars around the same prices range?
Picantorian Neutral Newbie November 26, 2005 Share November 26, 2005 Quote I heard from someone that his Kelisa give him 14 km/L is this bad for a 1L car? picanto give me only 9-13 km./L.. still not as good as compared to Kelisa.. ↡ Advertisement
