No problem. We have a good catch up at Mcdonald and received some feedbacks from people who had installed the voltage stablizer. They have a cooler ride in the not so cold conti air-con. [:)]

And sad to know that we will be losing Virus in SOG, but he brought in 2 new members...balance is still +ve...hehe... [sly]

What's going to happen to Virus, if he is selling his Octavia, let me know, one of colleague is interested. They can deal among themselves.

No worries... next meet you'll be solely in charge for repairing all the members' rides due to absence yesterday [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Hello

You can find used DSLRs at pretty good prices in Clubsnap forum. Gear upgraders constitute the bulk of the members in Clubsnap. In fact, I got my 17-40mm from a gear upgrader in Clubsnap.

Just set aside a budget and find the gear that best suits your needs. For a start, wide angle lens + a DSLR body will be good. Due to the 1.6x crop factor, a 16-19mm focal length will be equivalent to a 28-30mm on a 35mm film based conventional camera.

You will need a wide angle lens when shooting pics during meetups [laugh]

I'm taking all this down... heh... meanwhile... Volk74 and you can be the photographers for the club [:p]

Maybe can do a members gallery thingy... I was taking front pics of every car there yesterday for that.... But guess you guys are more pro at this [sly][:p] Perhaps can have a proper shoot for each car [lipsrsealed]

What is LOL hah? I am reserving my leave for a Oct trip to Taiwan. Not much leaves left... [bigcry]

No la...how can we ban friends from catching up? Just that the photo taking has 1 car short...but he managed to bring in 2 [:p]

Fortress,

Where do you dispose the engine oil after you changed up? Mine may be due in late Sept. [;)] May be I can check with whoever want to do DIY engine oil+filer to get togehter. [gossip]

Do not like to change oil myself, as it is not cost effective. There are places where they do the change, together with Fully-Syn oil and filter for less than S$68. I got mine done in May during a special discount at S$28.

As for disposing the Engine oil, used to give it to the army boys for cleaning their rifles, better than the Diesel oil from trucks given to them.
