Neutral Newbie

battery and alternator is too slow to respond, capacitor store power to give efficient power to your amp

You may also want to know that the cap is measured by Farad...generally, 1 Farad will cater to setup that has total consumption of about 1000W. 1.5 Farad cater for 1500W so on so forth.

Without the cap, the system draws power directly from the car battery which is already supporting a lots of other mechanism within the car. So, when you play track that is highly powered, for eg lots of sub range etc, the cap like what was mentioned, provides a stored energy without feeling the lag in your music.

so what the lowest range is it 1 Farad? highest can go up to how much?

can i purchase a bigger range capacitor now(for example: now my total consumption is about 1000w) but in future i might get a bigger (2000w system)system?

is it expensive for this capacitor?

thanks [sunny][sunny][sunny][sunny]
