Wbucket Clutched July 29, 2005 Share July 29, 2005 Was recommended Clarion DXZ856MP when I was looking for Pioneer 8650. Is it a good set? Pioneer 9650 had so much features, but will Clarion DXZ856MP win in term of sound quality? What do you think? Thanks for your input. ↡ Advertisement

Wbucket Clutched July 29, 2005 Author Share July 29, 2005 Was going to get 8650, but no more export set. So the next one is 9650. But I have heard clarion sounded nice, so was wondering if the SQ would justify it purchase over the mega featured 9650.

Wankie Clutched July 29, 2005 Share July 29, 2005 clarion got export set? I'm kinda worried about the reliability of the touch screen...
Wbucket Clutched July 29, 2005 Author Share July 29, 2005 I heard 8650 export set was all re-called due to the failure mode of "screen losing color after extensive exposure to sunlight". True or false? Thus it is advised to get waranty set for this guy.
Wbucket Clutched July 29, 2005 Author Share July 29, 2005 Not sure. I am actually getting quote from Audioedge. Even if export set, they do provide in-house waranty to a certain extent. But the clarion quote is local set. What I like about this shop is they carry export set with installation. So any time can go back to them. Unlike other case whereby installers and seller different, so hard to find fault. ↡ Advertisement
