German tuner MTM has released a set of photos previewing its upcoming tuning packages for the entire A1 range.

 

MTM promises performance upgrades on all available engines for the A1 and has released details for two of its offerings. For the 1.6 TDI diesel with 105 PS (77 kW), MTM will offer an output upgrade to 121 PS (89 kW) while boosting torque to 282 Nm from the original 250 Nm. The

    Ok, the title might be slightly misleading, but there is still a Japan-link.  So, pufferfish. Specifically, a wikipedia entry called Pufferfish mating ritual.  Long story short, one particular species of pufferfish make complex geometric circles in the sand to attract a mate.     Japan is weird. I love it (Part 6)

    Fireflies. Not a topic I think about often, if at all, but here we are.  On a recent podcast episode, I learnt that the light that fireflies emit is nearly 100% efficient.
