The BMW World isn't just a showcase for their latest model line-up. It's also a celebration of their past success in the automotive industry as well as providing the visitor an insight into their future. On display are a slew of the latest 5-series as well as the rather special looking 5-series GT.

BMW also took the opportunity to launch the all new X3 at the event in front of the local media. The body design of the new BMW X3 conveys urban elegance and versatile agility. The combination of a flat front end and a high rear end produces, when viewed from the side, a dynamically formed wedge shape, indicating the vehicle's sporting characteristics. The convex and concave surfaces are accentuated by distinctive lines.

Not forgetting BMW's own thrill-inducing products, there was a strong representation of the brand's motorsports division. On hand were the latest E92 M3 fitted with the competition package. Other 'M' representatives includes the X5M and X6M. The star of the show though was the M3 GTS making its first appearance in Asia.

Besides the cars, the event includes many other entertaining activities that would persuade Dads to make it an outing for the little tikes as well. BMW has chosen an intriguing layout for the exhibition that keeps things interesting for the visitor. You will find many nooks and crannies that hide other fun activities behind their walls.

Look out for the BMW GINA Light Visionary Model, a car completely clad in a flexible fabric skin, an optical expression of creative freedom to revolutionize the way we think about automobiles.

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. While I love the food, the service and the shopping, the sheer number of tourists (me included) has become a turn-off. I'm not talking about those who inconven

    The art of doing nothing?

Here’s a quick fun fact for those who’ve sworn themselves entirely off TikTok, out of the fear of having to run yet another social media account: You don’t actually need to log in to the app to scroll it. Quite incredibly (but also quite scarily), the platform’s algorithm is still able to curate an incredible array of videos that it thinks will make you want to keep scrolling. And for this existential-crisis-ridden 28-year old, it’s decided to feed videos more along the 'self-help’ route re

    Armored MMA

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a brutal sport that, in recent decades, has grown to significant prominence.  Whatever you make of the sport (and the often complicated and sometimes problematic climate that swirls around it), there's no denying its popularity, driven in large part by the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) brand - a multi-billion-dollar global enterprise.  But if partially-clothed men/women beating the s*it out of each other is not quite your thing, may I interest you in
