LTA absent as PMDs endanger others by speeding on an expressway

PMDs may be somewhat affordable, but if you're not careful they can cost you your life. Like these guys may find out soon enough.

What happened?

A camcar was travelling on East Coast Parkway (ECP) at 2am in the morning yesterday when it cam across a gang of PMD riders speeding on the expressway.

There was at first only one rider in view on the cam car’s left before a second zoomed past into the footage.

A third soon zoomed from the camcar’s right.

Speeding in a PMD on an expressway is two crimes in one as a PMD is not authorised for use on roads. The punishments for which are being fined up to $2,000 and/or jail time of up to 3 months.

Online chatter.

Plenty of people were criticising the PMD drivers, but they also criticised the government for not catching these riders as they endanger others as well.

While dark, others told traffic police to get blue tents ready for the riders.

As someone with a dark sense of humour I laughed.

Kinda true, enforcement officers have office hours too. Work life balance.

So I guess it’s time for laser beam satellite AI enforcements. Lol

To be honest, there is really no way the law or enforcement can catch such reckless PMDs at anytime. Really no way.

These riders only have their own responsibility to account for their own safety.

If it just involves these irresponsible riders themselves,we need not care the least. Let them be self-eliminated. Unfortunately, it involves all other road users!

AMAP/LTA/BYK PLease take note,!

Maybe we should relook n rethink of PMD as the way to reduce the burden on public transportation. I am even thinking having LTA trial run or have some petrolling done by men in blue using pmd

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

My favourite racing game is back!

THERE'S A NEW TOKYO XTREME RACER GAME ON THE WAYYYY!!!! This is the best news for fans of this rather understated and obscure racing game. Also known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, this is a series of racing games by Genki, a Japanese game company that was founded in 1990. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is one of the most popular game in the series as it features many cars, opponents and an extensive map For those that have never heard of these games, I'll give you a quick run-down. Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho
