Private bus hire blocked an entire road to 'dabao' food. Hunger truly waits for no man (or vehicle, in this case)

TL;DR - A cam car caught a private hire bus illegally parked at the roadside to packet food which prevented a long vehicle from moving. Long, extended horns were blown but to no avail as the private hire bus driver nonchantly strolls back to his vehicle.

To attain your driving license, you need to first pass your BTT, also known as your basic theory test. And to pass it, you need to know that you are not allowed to park on either side of the road, be it single or double white lines.

Watch this 74-second video. Apparently, this bus driver did not get the memo.

What happened?

The cam car, along with other vehicles were stuck in traffic due to a private hire bus parked (illegally) at the side of the road.

For what purpose?

To dabao food.

Yes, you heard it right. What are the odds a long trailer truck would appear at the same time the bus driver grabs his lunch? No chance, right? But, unfortunately, on this day, the bus driver was not so lucky.

Stuck in the middle, the trailer truck driver decided to sound an extremely long horn to express his displeasure. However, this did not resolve anything as the private hire bus driver either did not hear it or thought it was for him or he just didn't have any form of urgency and took a stroll back into the vehicle (like a boss) after getting his food.

Let’s see what the commenters have to say:

Seems like both parties have their fair share of supporters. What about you? Let us know what you think!

  • Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

    DENZA D9: True Flagship Excellence

What makes something a flagship? Flagship products represent the very best of a brand. Whether it's cars, electronic products, even services, a 'flagship' is core to a brand experience, as well as to the brand's image. Besides just delivering all the tangible features and functionality offered by the brand, a flagship product is also a showcase of the intangible - about what a brand stands for, and what it aims to deliver to customers. DENZA, a BYD Premium Brand, has now been officiall

My inexplicable attraction to instant food

Ready-to-eat microwaveable meals, instant noodles, plane food - these aren't typically the kinds of foods that people will spring for when given a choice. But for some reason, I actually enjoy eating foods like that, and would even find myself craving for them at times. I know, most of you would say it's the salt, seasoning, MSG, sugar and all the unhealthy flavourings that I'm hooked to. And you might be right - but I think it's more than that; there's something about eati
