One thing that annoys me is the inability to find an available lot in a carpark - but that's part and parcel of driving, right?

However, what's worse is when you stumble upon an empty lot, and another car decides to be a d1ck and 'vultures' your parking lot away.

Just like the couple of a Mercedes-Benz GLB200 here:

What Happened?

A Singapore-registered Mercedes-Benz GLB200 swooped to the front of the cam car and stole the parking lot that the cam car was waiting for.

However, this whole act was only made possible by the 'chope culture' that inspired the actions of the Mercedes-Benz SUV's female passenger.

While waiting for the Toyota to exit the parking lot, the female passenger of the Mercedes-Benz alighted from the SUV, simply stood around the parked Toyota and acted blur.

As the Toyota sedan exited the lot, she stood in front of the cam car to block and 'chope' the empty lot for her Mercedes-Benz GLB200.

The Mercedes-Benz SUV driver reversed almost immediately into the empty parking lot as soon as the Toyota left the lot.

In response to the Mercedes driver's actions, the cam car driver repeatedly sounded his horn at the German SUV.

And from the honking alone, I can easily sense the frustration and anger coming from the cam car driver.

I mean why rage so much when there's an empty lot with a green indicator just up ahead (assuming if the carpark availability system is working fine)😐

eh don't give idea leh. Next thing you know, people are gonna use oversized tissue papers to 'chope' parking lots already.

We may have chope culture, but they have chop culture. With a parang. Better be careful (and carful).

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

Titan's Fall: Back to Square One

Manchester United have once again signalled a restart with the sacking of Ten Hag, and just days later, announced the appointment of Ruben Amorim, who will join midway through the first half of the current season from Sporting Lisbon. Back to square one yet again for the Red Devils who, despite being one of the most successful clubs in England and biggest clubs in the world, have not won a league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. Since then, they’ve gone through a whole ho

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 5)

There are plenty of strange sports in this world. People running from bulls. People running after cheese. Power Slap.  But of course few places do weird quite like Japan. Introducing to you: Bo-taoshi.  The name means 'topple the pole', and that's exactly the name of the game. Except of course its never quite so simple.  You want teams? Oh, you get teams. 150 players, split into 75 offensive and 75 defensive - one holding your pole up, the other attacking another team to topple th

    The Act of Creation

“WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and
