BMW 318 driver makes a quick escape after nearly sending a cyclist flying to the heavens

It is common basic knowledge that motorists are required to give way to pedestrians or cyclists at a pedestrian crossing.

Furthermore, it is quite effortless for the motorist to stop, look left and right and check clear before proceeding.

However, some drivers seem to have the neck for driving like an @ssho13.

Just like this BMW driver:

What Happened?

The accident above occurred at a junction along Bukit Batok West Ave 5, involving a BMW 318 and a cyclist.

The impatient BMW 318 driver 'chiongs' through a discretionary left turn despite a pedestrian and cyclist crossing the road.

Within seconds, the BMW sent the cyclist flying in mid-air before crash landing head-first on the ground.

Despite being aware of the collision, the BMW did not stop to render any assistance to the cyclist involved.

Instead, the BMW driver floored the accelerator and left the accident scene immediately.

To be honest, I am not surprised that the BMW driver has the neck for driving like an @ssho13.

He is an @ssho13 for committing the hit and run.

Here's wishing the cyclist involved a speedy recovery!

It does not matter if the cyclist alighted and pushed his bicycle across the pedestrian crossing.

As drivers, we must do our due diligence and check for traffic before proceeding.

In other words, hopefully, cyclists will learn to keep a lookout and use the road in consideration of other road users.

Don't tell them to stop and only cross when the car stops.

I like to see more of this kind of videos.

:D

And I bet there will be lots of stupid cyclists

who ride across even when the car don't stop.

Yeah more exciting videos to see

  • Titan's Fall: Back to Square One

Manchester United have once again signalled a restart with the sacking of Ten Hag, and just days later, announced the appointment of Ruben Amorim, who will join midway through the first half of the current season from Sporting Lisbon. Back to square one yet again for the Red Devils who, despite being one of the most successful clubs in England and biggest clubs in the world, have not won a league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. Since then, they’ve gone through a whole ho

    Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f
