Car sharing drivers have developed quite a bad reputation for their atrocious driving over the years.

If you're wondering how bad they are right now, look no further.

Here's a video that will make you facepalm yourself:

What Happened?

After failing to come to a complete stop at a stop-line, a GetGo Mazda 3 abruptly performed an e-brake to avoid t-boning a taxi.

For some reason (most likely to give the Mazda 3 driver a death stare), the taxi stopped just in front of the Mazda 3.

At this point, the Mazda 3 somehow gently rolls forward and collides with the side of the taxi.

I am not sure about you, but this deserves a good facepalm moment.

This incident serves as a prime example of the poor driving skills that the majority of car sharing drivers possess.

Personally, I tend to avoid being around these cars.

I think the driver is not familiar with the car's stop/start system. Mazda calls it what? istop? The driver brake hard initially which deactivated the engine, thought engine stalled and let go of the brakes only to have the engine kick back on and rolled forward.

Either driver is a noob or too long never drive. Dunno how the system work. First time user.

That's another possibility!

I think that driver might have mistakenly thought that when i-stop engaged means the car also engaged auto brake-hold at the same time but sadly this model doesn't have auto brake-hold since it does not have EPB.

Exactly my thoughts. The cabbie knew full well what he was doing. 😂

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

The best covers are the ones you don't expect

I'm not a fan of Christmas.  Let's first set aside the unclear and potentially contentious origins of this particular 'holiday', and my general apathy towards religiosity. (Christians celebrate it as the day of Jesus' birth, though some evidence suggests his actual birth was in the spring. Some historians also note that the Christian traditions of Christmas can be traced back to Pagan roots and the Saturnalia festival, and the chosen 25 December date was an attempt by church leaders to appr

    Carpark Review: Downtown East

It used to be most associated with Wild Wild Wet (or Escape Theme Park if you're of a certain vintage) but now is more typically visited by those looking to shop at the NTUC Fairprice of E!Hub or Don Don Donki. Downtown East spans a total of 147,000sqm and was officially opened on 5 November 2000 (according to Wikipedia). For those residing in the far east of Pasir Ris, this is likely to be their port of call for the grocery run (the other typical location being Loyang East). But just how g

    Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho
