Some say it is because of one's bad luck, others say it's a mere coincidence.

I say it is due to stupidity.

Watch how the cyclist causes this accident in this video.

What Happened?

The accident occurred at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.

In the dashcam video, the traffic light switched from amber to red within seconds.

Despite this, a "Tour De Singapore" cyclist on a road bike decided to ignore and beat the red light.

At this point, the pedestrian signal across the junction turned green, and pedestrians started to cross the road.

Even as the cyclist started approaching a group of pedestrians, the cyclist made no effort in attempting any evasion manoeuvre and continued cycling straight into them.

As a result, the thick-headed, errant cyclist who beat the red light collided with another cyclist cycling across the pedestrian crossing.

The collision sent the errant "Tour De Singapore" cyclist and his bicycle flying.

Luckily for the cyclist who got hit, he seemed fine and managed to get back on his feet instantly.

What Now?

Unfortunately, like all other errant cyclists out there, this cyclist will get away with it.

Who in their right mind would beat a red light just before a major cross-junction?

It takes lots of guts and even more stupidity to do something like this and put other road users in danger.

Taking "fake it till you make it" to a whole new level!

Nowadays bicycles think they are big f**k, on the footpath expect pedestrian to give them right of way. On the road, if a vehicle cuts them they jus make a big gesture and shout. i have seen such nonsense as a jogger and a driver countless times.

the cyclist in the video seems damn entitled. above the law

  • Titan's Fall: Back to Square One

Manchester United have once again signalled a restart with the sacking of Ten Hag, and just days later, announced the appointment of Ruben Amorim, who will join midway through the first half of the current season from Sporting Lisbon. Back to square one yet again for the Red Devils who, despite being one of the most successful clubs in England and biggest clubs in the world, have not won a league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. Since then, they’ve gone through a whole ho

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f

    Still learning to let go

I believe that you need to let go of things in life to make room for new experiences. It sounds hypocritical coming from a former hoarder like me, but it is quite possibly the most important lesson I've learnt these past two years. Decluttering or tidying up is cathartic. That's why I feel clearing out your house can improve your life. Like many, I discovered this before moving into my BTO, as my better half and I attempted to clear out our guest room. Horrifyingly, it had become 'The

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev
