Fierce Jaguar F-PACE runs away like a scaredy cat after hitting camcar

A white Jaguar F-PACE miscalculates camcar's actions and switches lanes too early, resulting in an unexpected hit-and-run.

The video starts with the camcar and several other vehicles patiently waiting for the green light at the junction between Bukit Timah and Kheam Hock Road.

Upon the appearance of the green light, all cars start to move off, with the Honda Jazz in front of the camcar making a right turn.

It is at this moment that the white Jaguar F-PACE decides to filter to the right lane, as the driver assumes that the camcar would be making a right turn as well instead of going straight ahead.

This results in a pretty nasty hit between both vehicles.

Unlike the fierceness of the vehicle's name, the Jaguar driver immediately increases his speed and runs away after the hit.

Do you see the resemblance?

The location of the accident

While most would agree that the Jaguar F-PACE was being too 'kan chiong' in his judgement, some questioned if the camcar was in a right-turn only lane.

Upon further research, here is a quick screengrab of the location.

According to the video, the camcar was in Lane 1, which is a lane where vehicles can turn right or go straight ahead, while the Jaguar was in the middle lane.

It's so sad that this is the reality when it comes to dealing with rich and arrogant drivers. 😞

Oof, if only the Jaguar driver would have thought to slow down and check his mirrors before filtering.

TBH, it is easy to prevent an accident like this from happening if the Jaguar driver is alert and did the proper checks before switching lanes. However, the way he ran off afterwards is simply a cowardly action - it's not like he does not have the money to settle the damages (judging from his vehicle). I hope the camcar can catch this driver and receive the proper payout he deserves!

The Jaguar should have waited a bit more before stepping on the accelerator, making it as if he may be caught between the car in front of him shifting right as well, at times he know his F-space pick-up is a lot faster, i put it as he knows he has it to take it, what surprises us was the SUV took off like grease lighting. Yes he should have slow slow down, then it doesn't sounds like scooting off . . .

Jaguar had to run because camcar is Lion. If Jaguar didn't run away, it would be mauled down by the Lion.

Also I don't understand. Why the camcar didn't give chase? Seen a few cases like this. If its me, i'll turn it into the road rash game.

  • Titan's Fall: Back to Square One

Manchester United have once again signalled a restart with the sacking of Ten Hag, and just days later, announced the appointment of Ruben Amorim, who will join midway through the first half of the current season from Sporting Lisbon. Back to square one yet again for the Red Devils who, despite being one of the most successful clubs in England and biggest clubs in the world, have not won a league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013. Since then, they’ve gone through a whole ho

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev

    CSI Miami, you are missed

When the original CSI (Crime Scene Investigation) first aired in 2000, I was intrigued. There had been plenty of police dramas prior to CSI, but this was the first one I watched that was focussed on forensics. From DNA to Luminol sprays to blood spatter to bullet striations, using science to unravel the mystery of a crime and compiling concrete evidence to convict criminals made for good storytelling. However, CSI was visually dark as the team featured in the show worked the night shif
