Ang moh cyclist vents his frustrations at road users at Serangoon Gardens

This is easily the most ridiculous video I am about to cover in my blog post.

Watch this cyclist go around Serangoon Garden's roundabout, again and again, to vent his frustration by harassing other road users:

Caught In The Act

This Ang moh cyclist was spotted cycling around the roundabout at Serangoon Gardens, shouting indistinctly and hitting cars as they drove past him.

Furthermore, this was not a once-off incident — In fact, he was caught on camera going multiple times around the roundabout performing this circus act of his.

The cyclist's unruly behaviour endangered his life and caused inconvenience to other road users.

The Perfect Example

This man is the perfect example of everything we should not do:

  1. Cycling on the road without proper Personal Protective Equipment such as helmet and covered shoes.
  2. Not equipping his bicycle with lights while cycling in the dark.
  3. Wearing of a face mask (Optional, since he is "exercising").
  4. Cycling on the first lane.

But hey, at least he signalled his intention of changing lanes, unlike certain drivers, right?

Accountability

Unlike motorists who have their vehicles registered with the government authorities, cyclists do not have to register their bicycles with the authorities.

Who is accountable if the cyclist damaged passing vehicles or caused an accident and then escaped from the incident scene?

Considering this cyclist was caught on camera (with many eyewitnesses), would he be punished for his actions?

*If not for the passerby who caught him on camera, I am pretty sure he will leave scot-free from this unwarranted act of his.

Unless cyclists are caught red-handed by the authorities at that point in time, it is quite impossible to enforce against them.

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

ERP 2.0: Possible positions for your processing unit

Your OBU's processing unit isn't always mounted on the passenger footwell. Depending on the car that you drive, more than one option may be available! Since November 2023, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has been gradually replacing in-vehicle units (IUs) with the new on-board units (OBU). The OBU will pave the way for smoother traffic as we transition to the new ERP 2.0 system that is based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology.  The OBU comprises three parts: An

I'm not a fan of Christmas.  Let's first set aside the unclear and potentially contentious origins of this particular 'holiday', and my general apathy towards religiosity. (Christians celebrate it as the day of Jesus' birth, though some evidence suggests his actual birth was in the spring. Some historians also note that the Christian traditions of Christmas can be traced back to Pagan roots and the Saturnalia festival, and the chosen 25 December date was an attempt by church leaders to appr

    Cleaning is relaxing?

Every once in awhile, I find myself watching 20-minute long videos on Youtube on something that most people will probably find quite bizarre: Carpet cleaning videos.  (This video has 5.4m views!!!!) It's... a particular kind of Youtube rabbit hole. I concede that.  However, I must say that I find such videos strangely relaxing and soothing. Beyond the ASMR component of it, I do find something quite nice about the specificity and particularity of such videos, and in some
