Sad to say, road rage is a pretty common occurrence in Singapore, which takes on many forms such as tailgating, shouting or angry honking.

Watch this road rage incident that involved two men exchanging fists here:

(Disclaimer: Lots of shouting and vulgarities, so adjust your volume accordingly, if required)

This incident allegedly occurred along Edgedale Plains, involving the drivers of the camcar and the Audi Q7.

Exchanging of fists

It is unknown what exactly took place that led to the altercation between both drivers.

Both men started exchanging fists within the first 10 seconds of the video, with countless vulgarities spewed.

Police had to intervene to stop the altercation from escalating.

Despite returning to the car, the camcar driver's significant other continued to taunt the Q7 driver by shouting rudely and making vulgar hand signs at him.

The video ends shortly after, with the same lady shouting xenophobic remarks at the Q7 driver.

Vulgarity count

Here's a tally of the number of vulgarities used in the video:

I laughed my ass off at this comment. And somehow I read this comment in David Attenborough's voice.

P.S. Please lah guys, next time just avoid such altercations. The world is already stressful as it is, especially with the pandemic around😩

Update: Both men are currently assisting with police investigations into a case of affray.

The approach of the year-end holidays often also means the annual pilgrimage Singaporeans take to Japan to soothe their souls after a long year will soon kick into high season. (Just open any of your social media applications - Instagram, Facebook or TikTok - and you'll see.) For the many amongst us who can spare neither the financial expense nor the time, however, there's no reason to fret. “WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev
