Road raging van driver blocks a taxi, hits its side mirror, and hurls vulgarities

A taxi driver falls victim to a van driver's road rage when he obstructs the path of the van driver. There are two videos of the incident.

1. Taxi driver's POV

2. Passenger of the taxi's POV

The taxi driver's POV

The clip starts with the taxi driver moving off after dropping a passenger at Loyang Rise.

As there are numerous cars parked along the lane and obstructing his right of way, he decides to travel on the opposing lane.

He notices a black van from afar and stops his vehicle, hoping that the van driver will let him pass before moving on.

However, the van proceeds to move forward and blocks the taxi's path.

The passenger's POV

Now, let's have a look at the passenger's perspective.

We can hear the taxi driver honking at the van as the van intentionally moves forward despite the taxi obstructing its path.

The van driver honks back in retaliation before hurling vulgarities and shouting at the taxi driver.

This left the taxi with no choice but to reverse and angle his car slightly towards a small gap in the middle of the road to let the van pass.

The passenger has also stated that the driver kept trying to intimidate the taxi uncle while he tried to give way to him.

Before the taxi driver could properly reverse and adjust the angle of his car, the van impatiently tried to go around the vehicle and ended up hitting the taxi's side mirror.

The taxi driver sounds this off to the van driver only to be answered with a string of vulgarities yet again.

Even if the van has the right of way, the driver's behaviour was abysmal and disgusting to watch. There is no need for aggressive remarks while the other party is trying to let him pass.

Quite common in landed property estates. Residents there typically are gentlemanly in giving way as and when needed, because all are equally guilty in parking by the roadside, both sides! They know if they complain about the problem, then LTA will come and paint solid line on the road, then everyone loses out.

I've meet even those hao-lian brand car drivers just give way or both of us graciously give way to the other when there's only one lane space to pass.

The taxi driver ask for it, lose already get people help him post in forum cry father cry mother! Cry so much still lose a side mirror 😂

so obvious there is a gap in front of the grey Honda for taxi to slide in and create a gap big enough for the van to pass!

how the writer wrote trying to whiten and angel the taxi driver ! In reality the taxi is the egoist idiot borrowing. People way still wanna stop by the road when the van is so far expect the van to stop and gave way to him, and if the van do not stop make it hard for the van to pass!

in the end? Taxi driver a loser with a big L on his forehead , cry father cry mother want sympathy for his side mirror! Hilarious behaviour! 🤣🤣🤣

You are very naive and don’t know the law and how the police operate very well, every small incident need police for kopi , SPF need to hire 10x more police and build more police station .

FYI if you slap,or punch someone without much damage , it is called a civil suit if you are not happy, it won’t be criminal!

  • Godzilla Minus One: Surprisingly emotional and poignant

When one thinks of Godzilla movies, one imagines an oversized amphibious dinosaur generating a terrifying heat ray from its mouth and fighting with other oversized monsters. Meh, nothing special, right? Wrong. Here’s why Godzilla Minus One should be an action movie you should definitely catch. In this version, the timeless clash between monster and man is once again set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-war Japan. But, unlike typical action films that dive headfirst into destruction a

    Musings about the Pomodoro Method

In a hyper-connected mega-city, where time seems to tick at a relentlessly brisk pace and where distractions are aplenty, pondering the art of productivity and focus is inevitable. In fact, it’s almost become a necessity. No wonder so many listicles have been written to point us in the right directions. Different methods works for different folks, of course, and when I was in my final year of university, I was introduced to a method that I regularly return to still: The Pomodoro Method, a d

The enduring charm of Singapore wet markets

I know I’m idealising it all - as a not-so-young millennial that can’t remember the last time he cooked a full meal for himself. (That was probably a good two years ago.) But moving on slightly from morning walks now, the space I’ve found myself frequenting when I feel like I need a break from the routines of everyday life (or to simply clear my head) isn’t the park. It’s the basement level of Punggol Plaza. That a wet market even exists here should be surprising. Punggol, after all, is qui

Motorcycle riding is a sensory experience beyond the exhaust

Riding a motorcycle is like taking your nose on a wild adventure. You're cruising down the road, expecting to smell nothing except exhaust fumes and perhaps rubbish, when suddenly - bam! - you're hit with the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling char kway teow from a nearby coffeeshop. Heck, you might even catch a whiff of someone's fancy perfume as you zip by. It's like your bike has magical powers, transforming an ordinary ride into a sensory rollercoaster. It's these unexpected olfactory deli
