Angsty Mercedes driver left in the dust by quick thinking (but dangerous) driver

A case of road rage with many occurrences of dangerous driving happened along Seletar Aerospace Drive, towards the direction of TPE/CTE/SLE.

The marked area is where the incident occurred.

Happened Off-Camera

The cam car claims that the Mercedes driver was hogging lane one and gave the cam car the middle finger as he drove past the Mercedes.

After which, the Mercedes tailed the cam car until what was caught on video.

Caught on Camera

A Mercedes E200 can be seen in the video swerving in and out of all three lanes of Seletar Aerospace Drive to block the cam car intentionally.

The Mercedes driver rushed out of his car and approached the cam car aggressively.

This prompted the cam car to perform a quick-thinking manoeuvre.

The cam car hurriedly swerved towards a filter lane and did not stop or slow down while at the filter lane.

Subsequently, he made an illegal turn to cut against the directional flow to get to another filter lane.

As much as I would like to give a pat on the back to the cam car for avoiding confrontation, I feel that both the cam car and the Mercedes E200 driver should be reported to the traffic police for their blatant disregard for safety.

With the hazard and dangers that they pose to other road users, they do not deserve to be on our roads.

If you're in imminent physical danger, escape should be your first priority. Cam car smoothly executed an escape manoeuvre without endangering anyone, and should be commended.

Put the Merc mfer in jail for road rage.

What the fark is the farktard Merc driver unker running toward the other car for in the first place? You think he can't kick and damage the car and even break a window and hurt the cam car driver?

kicking and damaging the car =/= imminent danger for cam car driver. Anyway, the car window isn't as easy to break as you think it is.

It doesn't matter. The cam car driver extricated himself from danger to himself and his property neatly, without endangering others. He drove competently, albeit strictly illegally. In my book, that's ok for an emergency.

And stepping out of your car to confront someone is automatically road rage. A serious criminal offence.

Yup, I absolutely agree with you on this now.

  • Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f

    Building a racing-themed watch!

This. This watch dial is the reason I started on this particular watch build... It all began when I came across someone's build that utilised the same dial - prior to this, I did not even know of the existence of a Walter Wolf Racing branded watch or dial. If you don't have any idea who or what Walter Wolf Racing is, here's an excerpt from Wikipedia: "Walter Wolf Racing was a Formula One constructor active from 1977 to 1979, which won the first race the team entered. Relaxing to restoration videos

There are tons of YouTube videos one could watch to unwind and decompress at the end of the day, perhaps while having dinner. You could watch one of those nature documentaries, travel vlogs featuring beautiful beaches, or perhaps a cooking show. But there's something strangely therapeutic about watching restoration videos. And the channel I find myself drawn to is Fumicho Restoration, a channel full of videos of old motorcycles being repaired and essentially reborn. I'm not even familiar wi
