Yes. They charge the utility expenses, coffee, tea and milo and lounge furniture depreciation into the costs.:grin:

Since when are AD mechanics better than tire shops, where all they do are tires all day long. 
but then some tire shops also FAIL  big time. Simple mounting of the red dot inline with the valve stem also cannot do.

I cannot be too sure if you will be paying more from the AD. Sometimes it depends on supply and demand. One thing good about AD is that they will have OE tyres if customers would still prefer OE tyres. 🙂

Sure there is a premium to pay compared to a neighbourhood tyre shop. But with a comprehensive tyre shield programme, I am sure you will drive out worry-free. 

When I just got my car(current car), I kenna 2 tyre puncture within the same year! And I am very particular about tyre patching and I only do mushroom patch which is more work and cost more.

The pricing they gotten is set by the local tyre distributors, it cannot be far off from other workshops. If not how to be competitive! 😆

AD will have a better workshop system, there is always a store supervisor or service advisor to ensure the mechanic follow the manufacturer recommended steps. Plus. if your tyres fail you when you drive off, now with Total Tyre Shield protection, just drive back and enjoy a cuppa of coffee while they fix your problems away! 🙂

actually i am surprised that borneo uses tyre worms. worms are just temporary patches.

When changing tyres outside,got to be really careful and ensure that the workshop does it properly. One area to look out for is the changing of new valves. More importantly, you need to see that the mechanic spray some soapy water on the valve after installation to ensure there is no leakage. YES, new valve can leak as well if they are not installed properly. So do remember and request the mechanic do that next time you change your tyres.
