The whole island was hit with a heavy rainstorm yesterday, with some experiencing more than just a heavy downpour.

From this minute-long video, it seems that a Ferrari 458 was caught speeding down East Coast Road in 'not-safe-for-speeding' weather.

The driver subsequently loses control of the vehicle as he attempts to accelerate, swerving left and right across three lanes before hitting an SBS bus and losing its rear bumper. Ouch!

Netizens' reactions to the incident:

This video ticked off a lot of netizens as they expressed their contempt for the Ferrari driver's dangerous decision:

Although the Ferrari did not cause any major harm to other drivers on the road, it is crucial for drivers on the road to remember to slow down and be extra cautious as Singapore enters its next monsoon season in June.

Looks more like the driver booted the throttle too hard and lighted up his rear wheels when the car in front of him finally moved out of the way. Not so much about aquaplaning.

I was hoping he did a 360 after spinning, like what F1 drivers do after a spin..

There's a reason why everybody else is slower than him

By the way, why he stick his head out towards end of video? Expecting cam car to do something?

ERP 2.0: Possible positions for your processing unit

Your OBU's processing unit isn't always mounted on the passenger footwell. Depending on the car that you drive, more than one option may be available! Since November 2023, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has been gradually replacing in-vehicle units (IUs) with the new on-board units (OBU). The OBU will pave the way for smoother traffic as we transition to the new ERP 2.0 system that is based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technology.  The OBU comprises three parts: An

    Still learning to let go

I believe that you need to let go of things in life to make room for new experiences. It sounds hypocritical coming from a former hoarder like me, but it is quite possibly the most important lesson I've learnt these past two years. Decluttering or tidying up is cathartic. That's why I feel clearing out your house can improve your life. Like many, I discovered this before moving into my BTO, as my better half and I attempted to clear out our guest room. Horrifyingly, it had become 'The
