Last weekend saw Singapore going into Phase 2, whereby almost every industry could become operational again.

With showrooms closed for more than a month since the start of our lockdown, naturally this weekend also saw some decent traffic.

Unfortunately, one test drive in particular went bad for this particular Honda shopper at Leng Kee...

We don't have details on exactly what happened but it does look like this Red Honda Jazz that was probably going through a test drive, isn't going to be sold as a new car anytime soon.

On the bright side, we can be sure that Honda's safety features sure work very well.

P.S. We reckon with the upcoming all new Jazz's Honda Sensing safety suite, this accident could have been avoided.

Looks like ground is slightly wet, a magnet for these Soap brand stock tyres to spin.

I think the accident still happened within the compound of KAH motor showroom. At least, it did not damage LTA property.

Would be interested to know the signed indemnity form printed liability?

Great article 😍

Here are some tips provided by MudSmart to follow while test drive.

  • Keep 100% of your attention on driving at all times – no multi-tasking.
  • Don't allow children to fight or climb around in your car – they should be buckled in their seats at all times. Too much noise can easily distract you from a focus on the road.
  • Don’t use your phone or any other electronic device while driving.

  • Japan is weird. I love it (Part 4)

I recently finished watching Shōgun (yes, I'm a little bit late to the party). Released earlier this year, Shōgun has become an utter revelation - going on to win 18 Emmys at this year's Primetime and Creative Arts Emmys, making it the most awarded single season of television in history. It's also the first non-English-language series to win Outstanding Drama Series.  And it truly is outstanding, fully deserving of all the awards that it has garnered.  As you would expect, the show rev

    Relaxing to restoration videos

There are tons of YouTube videos one could watch to unwind and decompress at the end of the day, perhaps while having dinner. You could watch one of those nature documentaries, travel vlogs featuring beautiful beaches, or perhaps a cooking show. But there's something strangely therapeutic about watching restoration videos. And the channel I find myself drawn to is Fumicho Restoration, a channel full of videos of old motorcycles being repaired and essentially reborn. I'm not even familiar wi

    A right-handers world

I was mid-way through a bike ride in Ladahk, feeling the ache in my right hand, when a thought occurred to me: “Huh, how come the throttle is always on the right side of all bikes?”  Statistically, about 90% of people in the world are right-handed. Full disclosure: I am right-handed, part of this largely ignorant majority.  And if you think about it, some things are designed clearly with that in mind.  Throttle on a motorcycle? Right hand. Accelerator pedal in a car? Right f
