Scirocco kisses Leon's bumper despite having enough time to brake!?

As seen on ROAD.sg, a red Volkswagen Scirocco has rear ended a SEAT Leon Cupra at the junction of the KJE exit to Woodland Road.

The accident happened a while ago on 3rd of April but only started getting viral recently as the Scirocco owner shared the video on a private whatsapp group chat (We have no idea why he/she would do this).

Thankfully, this is no serious accident despite the camera car obviously speeding along the KJE exit before filtering into Woodlands road. Sharp viewers of the video would also notice from the car's exhaust note that the accelerator was being pressed to overtake the bus at the 11-second mark.

But then again, it did look like the Scirocco could stop in time but chose to not come to a complete stop while checking for vehicles on Woodlands road...

Check out the video below. Is this a case of bad luck and/or bad judgement from Volkswagen driver who actually could stop in time or a case of speeding and reckless driving from both drivers? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

  • Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho

    Hard Enduro: The ultimate motorsport?

I enjoy motorsports of all kinds - four wheels good, two wheels better. And while watching them on TV (okay let's be honest Youtube, who even watches TV nowadays) is fun, getting to partake in anything even remotely resembling it, even in a highly truncated, totally superficial manner, is even more exciting.  Earlier this year, I did a short 2.5 day off-road riding 'tour', and it was easily the hardest, most physically demanding 2.5 days I've ever spent on a motorbike. It really gives you a

My inexplicable attraction to instant food

Ready-to-eat microwaveable meals, instant noodles, plane food - these aren't typically the kinds of foods that people will spring for when given a choice. But for some reason, I actually enjoy eating foods like that, and would even find myself craving for them at times. I know, most of you would say it's the salt, seasoning, MSG, sugar and all the unhealthy flavourings that I'm hooked to. And you might be right - but I think it's more than that; there's something about eati

    Carpark Review: Downtown East

It used to be most associated with Wild Wild Wet (or Escape Theme Park if you're of a certain vintage) but now is more typically visited by those looking to shop at the NTUC Fairprice of E!Hub or Don Don Donki. Downtown East spans a total of 147,000sqm and was officially opened on 5 November 2000 (according to Wikipedia). For those residing in the far east of Pasir Ris, this is likely to be their port of call for the grocery run (the other typical location being Loyang East). But just how g
