MORE POWER BABY!

SgCarMart is back with yet another video review, and boy do we have something special for all you motorheads today. If you're looking for maximum horsepower, but are still shopping within a reasonable budget (because you know, real life and stuff) look no further than the Skoda Octavia RS 245!

As you'd expect, a performance saloon has to be practical, and the Skoda delivers practicality by the buckets (as all Skodas do of course) with its liftback tailgate.

But will James fit inside the boot?

Hell yes! And even from here I can hear James asking me to paint him like one of my French girls.

Oh no! His face looks glum. Does voice recognition work in the Skoda? You'll just have to watch the video to find out!

And of course we take the car out for a good spin!

Is 241bhp enough to deliver thrilling performance in this sedan? The faces of our three musketeers seem to suggest so!

I leave all of you with a final incentive to watch the video.

Damm, you know that sensation when you just stand on the accelerator?

Would have been a perfect and value-for-money tarmac burner had it come in the 6 speed wet clutch, instead of the 7 speed DSG.

Don't get confused.

This 7 speed DSG is the same wet clutch used by the Golf R. NOT THE 7 speed dry DSG typically mated to the 1.4TSI engines.

Max safe torque it can handle is 420nm, more than enough for the 370nm engine.

But I agree with the reviewer.....those damn cup holders!!

  • A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the

    Fascinated by honey

If there's one natural food (aka can be eaten raw) that I absolutely love, it's honey. Yes, there are countless varieties from around the world, but for this story, we'll talk about the kind that comes straight out of a hive, complete with honeycomb. I'm not an expert on this topic, but every time I consume raw, unprocessed honey, it tastes a lot better compared to honey that comes in a jar. No squeeze-bottle honey for me, please. Perhaps it's just my imagination, but raw honey doesn't

    Germany is weird, too

As we've previously established and regularly highlighted, Japan is pretty weird.  And as it turns out, Germany's kinda weird, too:  m2-res_720p.mp4 The above video has been making its rounds on social media, and the simplest description of it is that it's a game where they are trying to cut an object (here, a pretzel) EXACTLY in half. It's pretty amazing that the person actually succeeds, but the fact that this is a game at all (on TV, no less) is fascinating.  Schlag d

The fun in collecting postcards without (really ever) sending them

I believe I may not be alone when I say that I’m quite the avid collector of postcards, but rarely ever send them out to family or friends. To some, this might seem counterintuitive, even wasteful. But for me, these miniature works of art serve a different purpose. They're windows into distant lands; time capsules of bygone eras; and conversation starters par excellence. In fact, in a city as fast-paced as Singapore, where our lives often revolve around our vehicles and the next destination
