A recent video uploaded on SG Road Vigilante of an Audi A4 using red and blue flashing lights to impersonate law enforcement vehicles has gone viral.

The “less than 24-hour old” video has since gone viral and has about 250 shares (as of present).

Here’s the video if you haven’t already seen it

Video from SG Road Vigilante YouTube

Colours of the law

At about 19 seconds into the video, we see an Audi A4 light up with red and blue flashing lights to overtake or get past the car that was recording the video.

A string of vulgarities can be heard coming from the driver. This is forgivable because ANYBODY would be pissed off if they had to scoot over and give way to a “police vehicle” only to find out that it was all a big fat lie.

The video then shifts to the POV of the dash cam. The footage doesn’t show the red and blue flashing lights tho, but it does show where the incident took place – Terminal 4, Changi Airport.

A weak chase ensues

The driver then decides to chase the Audi down (which was uncalled for but ego probably kicked in).

However, they enter a single merging lane, and there’s a Hyundai Avante between them.

For some reason, the Audi slows down at this single lane for a couple of seconds and the vulgarity spewing driver wastes no time in honking and high beaming to signal his displeasure. It’s a good thing that there was the Hyundai between them though or things might have escalated even further.

The Audi seems like it wanted to stop but decided not to in the end and drove off. Angry driver tails for a while and the video cuts off.

Two wrongs, no right

We did some research and under no circumstance should you be using red and blue flashing lights unless you are from law enforcement.

However, vulgarity spewing driver was obviously looking for a fight of sorts with all that aggression. Just keep calm lah! Why so angry? The video is evidence enough for him to kena by the real police what?

Here’s what Singaporeans think

  • Godzilla Minus One: Surprisingly emotional and poignant

When one thinks of Godzilla movies, one imagines an oversized amphibious dinosaur generating a terrifying heat ray from its mouth and fighting with other oversized monsters. Meh, nothing special, right? Wrong. Here’s why Godzilla Minus One should be an action movie you should definitely catch. In this version, the timeless clash between monster and man is once again set against the tumultuous backdrop of post-war Japan. But, unlike typical action films that dive headfirst into destruction a

Motorcycle riding is a sensory experience beyond the exhaust

Riding a motorcycle is like taking your nose on a wild adventure. You're cruising down the road, expecting to smell nothing except exhaust fumes and perhaps rubbish, when suddenly - bam! - you're hit with the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling char kway teow from a nearby coffeeshop. Heck, you might even catch a whiff of someone's fancy perfume as you zip by. It's like your bike has magical powers, transforming an ordinary ride into a sensory rollercoaster. It's these unexpected olfactory deli

Cordless vacuum cleaners: A young adult's best friend?

Every young adult probably arrives at the same point when they’ve started working for a few years: Household chores start to become more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong – they don’t have to be one’s favourite activity on earth. But chores start to make sense: An environment that’s put-together is always a welcome haven, whether it’s returning home after a long day out, or simply staying in over the weekend (or when you’re working from home.) As a young adult myself, I've come to appreciate an

5 ways the Polestar 2 Core Edition proves less can be more

With a less-is-more approach, the Polestar 2 Core Edition offers a more value-for-money entry into the Swedish brand.  What first comes to mind when you think of Sweden? IKEA, and probably ABBA. But there's plenty more that has come out of Sweden besides flat-pack furniture, meatballs and impossibly-catchy pop songs. Founded as a standalone brand just eight years ago and headquartered in Torslanda, Sweden, Polestar is a design-forward electric performance brand that wants to put its Sc
