Is it just me or has there been an increase in idiot drivers in Singapore lately?

In a video uploaded on Roads.sg, a Honda Vezel can be seen driving against the flow of traffic along Onan Road (near Joo Chiat-ish).

In case you haven’t seen the video, here you go

According to the accompanying caption on Roads.sg, this happened at 1840hrs (that’s 6.40pm)

Apparently, on this road, it seems to be the “norm” and these offences are allegedly committed by residents.

But wait, there’s more!

An image of yet another car going against traffic. This time from All Singapore Stuff’s Facebook page.

The car in question, a Toyota Altis, can be seen facing the wrong way (notice the “SLOW” marking on the road?). This incident happened at Holland Flyover.

On an unrelated note, did you notice the human at the background?

I digress. Back to the topic at hand, we did some digging and driving against the flow of traffic is labelled as “Dangerous Driving”.

The penalties are as follows if you’re a “non-serious offender”, which means you were not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Serious offenders naturally will have longer jail term and stiffer fines.

So please, don’t be an idiot.

  • A sole-ful tribute

Car enthusiasts are an emotional bunch. So, I naturally develop feelings for things on wheels, be it four wheels or two. However, I was surprised to discover that I had become attached to my old pair of sneakers, whose soles are so worn that it hurts to wear them.  That is the unequivocal signal to retire them. But I must say "Thank you" before bidding them goodbye. The laceless design is convenient, saving time when you need to rush off in the morning Through thick and

    Mycarforum visits Omoda

Attendees to this latest Mycarforum hangout event with Omoda got up close to the E5 and Jaecoo J7 and got a few tips on driving an electric car in Malaysia. It may have been close to a month since we visited the Skoda Kodiaq, but our Mycarforum members clearly could not get enough of the opportunity to explore new cars. At least, that's what the turnout at the latest Mycarforum hangout suggested! This new hangout session saw more than 30 of our members heading down to the new Omoda sho

    When suppressed feelings arise

"Don't keep it bottled up inside" is a saying many of us are familiar with. By now, most of us are aware that ignoring your emotions is an unhealthy practice. Yet many of us do it anyway. I don't think I'm particularly stoic, but as I get older, I've realised that I do tend to not express how I'm feeling, and that this practice has led to anxiety. One example of this happened just a few weeks ago. Prior to this year's Motor Show, I had trouble sleeping. I would keep waking up with my m

My favourite racing game is back!

THERE'S A NEW TOKYO XTREME RACER GAME ON THE WAYYYY!!!! This is the best news for fans of this rather understated and obscure racing game. Also known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, this is a series of racing games by Genki, a Japanese game company that was founded in 1990. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 is one of the most popular game in the series as it features many cars, opponents and an extensive map For those that have never heard of these games, I'll give you a quick run-down.
