blogentry-133713-0-92931100-1523442198_thumb.jpgA rare Lexus LFA has crashed in Singapore last week and with less than 10 units on our shores, it is quite a painful sight to watch.

Posted by a local Facebook user, the video of the supercar losing control has been circulating on the net. In the video, the driver of the LFA can be heard giving it the beans from the traffic lights and losing traction thereafter.

Despite having traction control, the driver still loses control of it and ends up crashing into a lamppost.

Sparks seen after the LFA sped pass the side mirror. I think the car is mod too low. The sudden acceleration caused the rear to dip and had contact with the tarmac, losing grip and lost control.

Perhaps Traction Control is off.

Anyway a RWD at high speed is very proned to fishtailing and should be driven with caution..

Typical case of an exotic in the wrong hands of an inexperienced driver or one who does not think with his head.

Caught up with pedal to metal and had to take evasive action with that sharp right turn of the steering after spotting the bus on his left!

hope the driver is ok...with more enblocs and more millionares created overnight..these type of things going to be very very common soon...

I've always been drawn to the wilderness. It's perhaps a sense of adventure, but perhaps also an understandable response to growing up in our painstakingly curated and unyieldingly artificed Singapore. The wilderness represents an otherness, a mystery, a case of what-could-be. I've also been fortunate enough to have had opportunities to spend time in various remote landscapes, far away from the vicious machine of modern civilization. It's never truly wild, but it's a stark contrast to the glass-
