Suzuki has unveiled the first official photos of its upcoming, next-generation Swift model.

The new Swift features a more lightweight and stiffened frame compared to it predecessor and comes with a widened track and larger wheels for improved performance and handling. Compared to the previous generation, the car is longer by 9cm with a 5cm increase in wheelbase.

The revised hatch will be available with a 1.2 liter gasoline engine with variable intake and exhaust valve timing or Dual VVTi. It produces 94 PS at 6,000 revs and 118Nm of torque at 4,800 revs. Fuel consumption on the unit is 5 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions are 116 g/km. A new Euro 5-compliant 1.3 liter diesel will also be made available in 2011 with a CO2 bona fide of 109 g/km and a consumption rating of 4.2 liters/ 100 km.

On the front, we have a reworked front fascia with a new grille, headlights and front bumper. The rear sports new taillights, bumper and boot lid. Interior information is limited at this moment.

  • Japan: The trend that became a turn-off

Ahh Japan. The destination that many travellers desire. The perennial trending subject on social media. Japanese cuisine, culture, quirks, technology, and everything kawaii have inspired endless posts, stories, reels, YouTube videos, and TikToks. But there's plenty more that has come out of Sweden besides flat-pack furniture, meatballs and impossibly-catchy pop songs. Founded as a standalone brand just eight years ago and headquartered in Torslanda, Sweden, Polestar is a design-forward electric performance brand that wants to put its Sc

Note: Click here to read Pt. 1, where the journey began in Hong Kong. NEXT UP: CHONGQING Day 3, cont.: Dad had decided on the scenic route to Chongqing - train. We did not realise that the immigration process at the Hong Kong Kowloon West station involved both the Hong Kong and Chinese authorities, so we found ourselves in a rush to board the train (we boarded minutes before the scheduled departure). Through the eight-hour journey, the passing sights made me realise the diversity

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 7)

Ok, the title might be slightly misleading, but there is still a Japan-link.  So, pufferfish. Specifically, a wikipedia entry called Pufferfish mating ritual.  Long story short, one particular species of pufferfish make complex geometric circles in the sand to attract a mate. And this particular species is found only in Japan.  It's beautiful. It's bizarre. And it's absolutely amazing.  From the wikipedia entry: In a 2014 documentary by the BBC, narrator David Atten
