blogentry-133713-0-21695000-1493620640_thumb.jpgThose who have seen Ken Block’s Gymkhana series will know that it is a very well put together video. However, to achieve such production quality, the amount of money and effort put into one video is not something an everyday person or someone with a tight budget can do easily.

That said, we think Tyler Witte, the driver in this short clip, might have come pretty close to making us entertained with his own homemade Gymkhana video.

While he is not exactly your everyday car enthusiast (his Instagram account says he was on the stunt team for the Fate of the Furious), you can see that he did not have much in terms of budget as compared to Ken Block's video. Using his own GC8-generation Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS that was bought over from friend after a crash, he spent eight months rebuilding the car to how it is now, says Speedhunters.

Kudos to him for the nicely done video!

Japan is weird. I love it (Part 5)

There are plenty of strange sports in this world. People running from bulls. People running after cheese. Power Slap.  But of course few places do weird quite like Japan. Introducing to you: Bo-taoshi.  The name means 'topple the pole', and that's exactly the name of the game. Except of course its never quite so simple.  You want teams? Oh, you get teams. 150 players, split into 75 offensive and 75 defensive - one holding your pole up, the other attacking another team to topple th

    The Act of Creation

“WHAT’S A GOOD USERNAME?!” Such was the source of my agony as I was handed a pair of figurative keys to MyAutoBlog. I’d asked the colleague from IT who was helping me set up this account if I really had to make an account with my work email, hoping I could use the username that came with my personal MCF account instead. “yes”, in lowercase no less, was what I got. Oh well. After a good 10 minutes (I think), I decided on this username (a reference I hope someone gets), juvenile and
