blogentry-133713-0-29512000-1469774630_thumb.jpgSubaru Tecnica International (STI) has announced that pre-orders of the Subaru XV Hybrid tS has begun in Japan and it will be priced around 20 percent more than the standard hybrid variant.

blogentry-133713-0-83485600-1469774630_thumb.jpgSimilar in concept with the Forester tS, the XV Hybrid tS will get a new front strut bar, new springs all around, plus a front flexible tower bar and draw stiffener. Outside, the car receives an STI-designed front spoiler lip, new 17-inch wheels and a new side skirts. The mirrors are now black in colour and the car has STI badging around it to remind the buyer he has bought something special. We are not sure we like the orange highlights on the car though.

It is paired to a 14bhp electric motor that is fitted within the car’s Lineartronic CVT transmission and drives through Subaru's AWD system.

Actually its quite nice, except for the rims which they overdid it. But its a shame STI resort to doing more cosmetic upgrades than performance.

Please don't follow Ralliart's footsteps into their demise...

Orleng? I thought STi is pink? Where's the turbo?

Omg CVT? They should remove the AWD if they want to make it a hybrid. Looks pointless and trying very hard with that orleng.

  • A 20-year journey, an old passion rekindled

For us 90s babies, the Holy Trinity of Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network formed a big part of our childhood. The internet was just about coming into fruition, with the rise of a plethora of websites with numerous entertaining flash games and of course, the early days of YouTube. And though those things have come and gone, one thing in my life remained constant: My love for Pokemon. I first got into Pokemon 20 years ago, and I remember exactly how it went down. Let me set the

    Ready? Steady? Slow!

Have you ever watched on of those baby crawling races? They are hilarious. I watch a lot of NBA, and sometimes they have these races as a halftime entertainment. And its hilarious because unlike most athletic races, there's an inherent unpredictability and chaos to these things. They get distracted, they get bored, they get tired. Babies doing baby things, you know.  Well, England thinks it can one-up the absurdity of racing: Introducing to you, Snail Racing.  It seems almost

Journey to the West: First Steps in Southwestern China, Pt. 1

It used to be that when a person was visiting China for the first time, the natural choice was Beijing. No better way to learn about a country than a visit to its capital, amirite? Having had their fill of Peking duck and climbed the Great Wall of China, the next places they would likely look at are those on the east coast - Shanghai, Nanjing, perhaps Harbin. In recent times though, the southwestern parts of China have gotten much coverage on social media. Chongqing, the country’s largest c

5 ways the Polestar 2 Core Edition proves less can be more

With a less-is-more approach, the Polestar 2 Core Edition offers a more value-for-money entry into the Swedish brand.  What first comes to mind when you think of Sweden? IKEA, and probably ABBA. But there's plenty more that has come out of Sweden besides flat-pack furniture, meatballs and impossibly-catchy pop songs. Founded as a standalone brand just eight years ago and headquartered in Torslanda, Sweden, Polestar is a design-forward electric performance brand that wants to put its Sc
